Holiday Tour Part 1: Rustic Chic Christmas Decor

Welcome to our Cheerful Christmas Home Tour!

I’m so excited to be joining some incredibly talented bloggers as we share our homes decorated for the holidays. For those of you coming from Gather in Grace, I’m so glad your joining us! If you’ve been following me, I’m so thankful for your support and hope you have a chance to see all the beautiful homes on todays tour.

The theme for our home this year is a rustic chic Christmas. I kept it mostly neutral with touches of silver, champagne gold, and a variety of flocked greenery. Come take a look at how I created a winter wonderland in our french farmhouse. And for those looking to recreate the look, I’ve gathered my favorite holiday decorations for you to shop below!

Christmas is a magical holiday and I wanted our home to be magical as well! The fur accents and metallic finishes create a chic look, while the rustic elements blend in with the farmhouse style.

First we have the fireplace. It seems to be the focal point of our home and the area where we gravitate to most. Above the mantle is a decorated wreath and coordinating garland, along with antique mercury glass candle sticks.

Next we have the christmas tree. This year we layered it with silver and gold mercury glass ornaments, glittered pinecones, and shimmering natural linen ribbon. I love how soft and elegant it looks, but with rustic charm.

Every year I try to save some christmas magazines for our coffee table. This Veranda Holiday edition is one of my favorites! Next to them you’ll find a silver decorated bowl filled with holiday scented pinecones. There’s nothing like the scent of Christmas!

One of my favorite things I found this year are these mini christmas trees. I tried to get a variety of styles and sizes to create dimension.

Another thing you’ll see throughout my holiday decor are reindeers. These pillows were what started my christmas theme. I love the combination of neutral brown and gray tones, with a shimmer of silver and gold.

While in Norway we found this gorgeous reindeer fur. I love how it coordinates with the pillows and thought it was perfect for our Christmas theme this year.

And on just about every surface in our home you’ll find garland or greenery. I love this combination with flocked pinecones, wood sticks, and branches.
