After a crazy couple weeks, I’m finally getting a second to stop in and share whats new in the world of Tuft & Trim. A while back I worked on a bedroom for one of my clients through e-Design. They sent a picture of the finished bedroom and I’ve been so anxious to share it with you all. If you’ve wondered if e-design really works, here’s a great example! We started with just an existing light fixture and rug and designed the room’s every detail online. I think it came out even better than imagined! Come take a look at the project, starting with the concept board, the proposed design and ending with the before and after pictures.

The concept for the space was to create a light and elegant look with neutral romantic details and a hint of blue.
After presenting a variety of options, we settled on the selections above. The design board is a great way to help clients visualize what the space will look like once complete. And as you can see in the picture below, the visual closely resembles the final design.
As a designer, I like to mix up finishes so I try to stay away from bedroom sets. I loved this gray washed wood dresser and how it brought some contrast between the lighter pieces. The upholstered chair in the corner compliments the wood perfectly.
These mirrors are some of my favorites! I love how they look balanced on each side of the bed and thought they pair perfectly with these nightstands.
Isn’t it fun to see the transformation between the before and after pictures? I’m so happy with the way this design came together. Not only was it an easy and affordable process, but it was fun!
