Hey friends, it’s been a while! A lot of big changes have taken place this year and I’m here to catch you up to speed…
Since my last post, we welcomed our sweet little Caleb who has completely stolen my heart. I wasn’t sure how I’d be able to keep up with three boys, but I’ve somehow found a way and every day is a blessing, no matter how messy, loud, and crazy it may be. In my attempt to soak up all that this precious baby stage has to offer, posting on here was put on hold. And just when I thought I could slow down and enjoy the snuggles, we found our dream home and decided to move! Wait, WHAT?!! I know, I’ve had so many of you ask why we moved again.. Didn’t we just move?? Yes, it feels like that. But after our third boy, my husband and I felt led to find more land for the boys to grow and explore. That being said, God answered our prayers and we found the perfect place to call, dare I say, our forever home!
Today’s first look will cover the exterior and our front door transformation! While I look forward to painting the home in the future, little changes like a new front door instantly updated the space to feel more like us. Follow along as I share before and after photos and all the sources for my fall front porch makeover!

The Door
The view from the front of our home is so beautiful, I wanted a glass door to admire it through. Swapping out the original door and sidelights from the 90’s instantly brightened up our porch and elevated the home. This pre-hung fiberglass french door and sidelights from Home Depot came as a unit and fit perfectly in the original opening and compliments the traditional character of the home. We ordered the painted white, but in the future when we paint the house white, I’ll most likely paint is a soft green or taupe. This was not a DIY project, we hired a local door installer to swap doors for us and so grateful we did. While my husband has had to learn many trades to accomplish my various design requests, we pick and choose our battles and this wasn’t one worth picking! LOL

Fall Porch Decor
I’ll be honest, I don’t go real big with my fall porch because in a matter of a few short weeks, I’m already on to Christmas! To keep things easy and affordable, I grabbed 2 mums from Home Depot and these adorable baskets from Target that fit perfectly as planters. I got a few heirloom pumpkins from Trader Joe’s and mixed them with a few of my white pumpkins and found this affordable rug from Amazon to layer under my doormat. The white planters with boxwood and wood lanterns I keep throughout the year.

I’m so excited for this new home journey and can’t wait to share more projects with you as we slowly make this house our own. Follow along on social media where I share more details and projects weekly!
