This week we had our first snowfall, a gentle reminder that the holidays are right around the corner. Cue the Christmas decorating, holiday music, and all the magical festivities we enjoy during this time of year.
On that note, I’m excited to share the first of my decorated spaces, the entry + formal living room. Today’s tour highlights my new Christmas tree, along with elegant holiday touches that make the space feel festive. As always, I try my best to provide the sources and, if not available, similar options so you can re-create the look. Hope you have fun taking a scroll through my winter wonderland!

Holiday decorating begins early in our home for multiple reasons. The main one being that I like to share my decor with you for inspiration and also because everything sells out so fast! But in doing so, I’ve found that the earlier I can get the house decorated, the more time I get to enjoy it all. I don’t know about you, but my December flies by. So many seasonal parties, school events, and traveling- all of which are fun, but don’t allow for much home time. All this to say, if you’re debating on waiting until after Thanksgiving to get that tree out, go for it now! Thanksgiving is even more fun with holiday decor.
Throw a Wreath on It
Wreaths are an effortless way to bring holiday warmth into your home. I like to hang wreaths on mirrors, art, fireplaces, oven hoods, you name it! Scale is important, so make sure you pick a wreath that is proportionate to the space. This 30″ wreath was the perfect fit for our large Trumeau mirror and paired with a large bow, it really brings it to life. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite wreaths for you to shop below.
The Christmas Tree
The tall ceilings in this space called for a bigger tree, and this 9 ft Fraser Fir fit the bill. It’s real touch branches bring all the classic Christmas feels into the space. If you’re looking for a high quality tree at affordable prices, shop my favorites below from King of Christmas!
Table Top Decor
Pretty bowls filled with beautiful ornaments is a great way to bring that extra holiday touch. I also love creating dimension with different table top Christmas trees. And of course, no space is complete without a floral arrangement.
