Welcome to my 2020 Christmas home tour!
This year’s decor is a romantic blend of classic and cozy. I tried to embrace a traditional Christmas style, while keeping a soft and neutral color scheme. In my opinion, layers of mixed garlands and greenery, glimmering Christmas lights, and pine scented candles evoke feelings of the holidays past. But of course, I do like to throw a twist in it and make it my own. Come take a peak at my living room and dining room and you’ll see what I mean… Hope you enjoy the tour!

I never really have a plan when I start my decorating, so it’s always fun to play around and see where I end up. The gold Christmas trees, garland, and gold tipped wreath above the mantle was all from Hobby Lobby. Once I put it up, I felt like it needed to be softened so I brought in some ivory peonies from Joann’s and tied a bow on the wreath. I also added extra greenery to the garland so it would spill over the sides of the mantel for an elegant look. I wasn’t sure if it was too busy, but if there’s ever a time for busy decor, it’s during the Holidays!
These ivory velvet stockings are from Pottery Barn and blended perfectly with this years look. Beneath the wreath is this French Country wall plaque.
In front of the fireplace are French Country candlesticks and a stack of gifts for added dimension. The wrapping paper is by Hearth & Hand at Target.
I moved the candle sconces to frame this mirror over my console table and love the blend of warm gold and gray patina. Some garland and floral keep it simple while bringing color and contrast.
I found this antique cachepot planter on facebook marketplace and love the character it brings to the space. It’s filled with ivory roses, cedar, and balsam fir.
I really wanted to incorporate my blue china so I hung them around the mirror in the dining room. The little trees are from Joanns and looked perfect placed on top of the wall shelves from Ballards. The wreath balances out the wall and completes the traditional look I was going for!
And last but not least, let’s not forget the reason for this season. I love this Nativity scene and the wonderful story it tells of Christs birth. So grateful for the ultimate gift!

This home is my favorite holiday home pictures. Stunningly tasteful and well done. You are truly talented.
STUNNING!!! Thank you for sharing
Thank you so much, Donna!!
Your home is so beautiful, and I love how classy your Christmas decor is! When my kids were younger they always wanted to put up our old, tacky Christmas decorations. Now that most of them are moved out of the house, I can decorate minimally! I’m not used to the simplicity of this decor, but I think it will make decorating a less overwhelming task. My favorite part of decorating during the holiday season is getting my upholstery cleaned, fluffing up the holiday pillows on the couch, and taking a nap after all of the decorating is complete!!
Hi Sarah,
Thank you so much, I’m glad you think it’s classy! I grew up with super tacky Christmas decor as well so I know what you mean! haha I’ve kept some of those for memory sake and put them up in less noticeable places. But I agree, it’s nice to keep it clean and simple, and a nap is always needed after a long day of Christmas decorating!
Thanks for stopping by!

Love getting your posts and just love this one! You speak my language with soft neutral color. Can you share who the manufacturer was for your parsons (host) chairs and what fabric did you use? Love them and have been looking for similar but so hard to find that style these days. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
Hi Sandy,
Thank you so much for stopping by, I’m so glad you loved the tour! The parsons chairs are from Ballards and are covered with the white quilted fabric. I actually scored and found them on facebook marketplace for a steal! Definitely recommend them, so easy to clean and hold up great!
Have a great day!
