Blue and White Valentine’s Day Table with Pink Floral

Hey friends! I’m back after a crazy couple months and I apologize for being MIA. With a husband on deployment and caring for a toddler full time, I haven’t had much time to catch up! I mean, lets be honest, to have my house clean enough for pictures is a rare occasion these days. But I’ve cleared out the toys and set the table just in time for this special day! 

Today I’m sharing my table set for a Valentine’s Day tea party. I used a bright and elegant combination of blue and white china, pink floral, and white linens.  Although today’s table is set with Valentine’s Day in mind, it could also be perfect for any occasion throughout Spring and Summer. It’s new for me to have so much color and I’m kind of liking it. Hopefully it gives you some ideas and inspiration for your own table this spring. The “Tea Party” theme came after I found this beautiful china set on Craigslist (Yes, I said CRAIGSLIST). This blue and white china, also known as the Asiatic Pheasant by Burleigh Pottery , stole my heart the second I came across it. I later found out it was first introduced in 1827 and was one of the most popular patterns of the Victorian Era. I love the elegant design and soft blue color and loved how romantic it looked next to the soft blush pink.
