Meet Courtney
Welcome to Tuft & Trim! I’ve always had a passion for interiors and after getting my interior design degree, I decided to jump on in and start my own business- which is where Tuft & Trim began. Over the past 5 years I’ve had the privilege of helping clients here in Virginia Beach as well as throughout the country, thanks to e-design. While this blog was started in an effort to share my client projects and design inspiration, it’s evolved into much more.
If you scroll through my blog posts, you’ll see a variety of before & afters from both our last home and our current. In both homes I saw potential and after many DIY projects (and some pain, sweat, and tears), my husband and I were able to create a space we are proud of. I love sharing the process so people can see the potential in what most would consider hopeless. With a limited budget, but a willingness to get our hands dirty, we’ve created a home we love and I hope to inspire others to do the same!
Now that we’ve had two sweet boys join our family, I’m slowing down my outside design work and focussing more on our home and inspiring others with elegant and budget friendly spaces. I’m quickly learning ways to create a family-friendly space that’s both fashionable AND functional.
