Over the last two years we’ve had the privilege of bringing our Cape Cod style house back to life. If you’ve been following along throughout the process, you know that the home was very dark and dated and needed a lot of TLC. Project after project, we slowly brightened up each room and created a cozy and welcoming space that became a home of our dreams. Now that we’re on to the next chapter, I wanted to wrap up our home transformation journey with a full home tour.
Today I’m sharing my favorite clips of each space so you can walk through, room by room. At the end I’ve included all the before pictures in case you’re new here and aren’t familiar with what we started with. The biggest game changer in this house makeover was paint. We painted both the exterior and all the interior which instantly helped lighten the home. We personally installed new flooring throughout most of the downstairs, painted kitchen cabinets, built a laundry room folding counter, and had the downstairs bathroom renovated. While these new finishes certainly updated the space, the unique variety of light fixtures, furniture, and decor completed it with personality. At the end of the day, I’m so proud to see how our hard work and vision paid off.
