Do you decorate with traditional holiday colors or do you like to mix it up? I love it all, but tend to lean towards the latter and this year is no exception. This Christmas I decorated our living room with an elegant French blue mixed with a variety of winter greenery and warm whites. I didn’t go overboard, but with just a couple touches of color in the pillows, ribbon, and ornaments, the look came together. I love how it turned out so much, I’m tempted to keep it up year round! The blue that is… not sure my husband would be ok with the Christmas tree up all year…
That being said, I’d love for you to come tour my living room! If blue holiday decor isn’t for you, you might still get some decorating ideas for your home this year. I’m also sharing some of my Christmas decor sources and other holiday favorites for you to shop in case you need help getting your home festive for the holidays!

My coffee table is a mix of my favorite magazines from past Christmas’s and the kid’s holiday books. I usually gather a handful of ornaments in a pretty bowl and add some greenery. It’s an easy way to carry the color scheme throughout the room and makes the space feel festive. A coffee table tray with some candles and floral completes the look. If you’re looking for coffee table decor, I’ve gathered up some great options for you to shop below!
This years theme was sparked by this adorable wreath wrapping paper I found on Etsy. I loved the soft pale blue ribbon and gold bells. The velvet ribbon on the gifts and tree is from Hobby Lobby.
This Christmas I added a couple personal touches like these gorgeous velvet monogrammed stockings and this monogrammed wreath sash by Fig & Dove. They have some beautiful holiday decor on their website and I’ve rounded up some of my favorites for you to shop below!
We have the Samsung Art TV and it’s been so fun to switch out the art for each season. I got this pretty art on Etsy and it’s called, “Winter Time Scenery” .
The fireplace is so big, it can be hard to create the right balance without making it look too busy. I used two mixed green garlands from Hobby Lobby and added some blue floral and velvet ribbon to tie it all together. Overall, I think it came together beautifully and looks even better in person!
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I’m so glad you did! One of my favorite things to do at Christmas time is the decorating, so I’m thrilled to be able to share that with you. Now as the holiday craziness begins, I hope you have a time to slow down and enjoy the season, it really is the most wonderful time of the year.
Merry Christmas!

Everything is beautiful as usual. I often find that what I like/want most from your post are the things that aren’t linked, like the greenery and those gold candlestick holders 🙁

Hi Priscilla,
Thank you so much! Unfortunately, I’m not able to link all my stuff either because it’s antique/vintage, or no longer available. However, the gold candlesticks, and a majority of my greenery is from hobby lobby! Hope that helps!
