Fall is in full swing and Thanksgiving is just around the corner, can you believe it!? While it’s exciting to think about, it can also be overwhelming if you’re the one doing the hosting. If that’s you, let’s cross that tablescape off the list early this year and have some fun with it!
Today I’m sharing my effortless fall centerpiece that’s simple, yet one of my favorites. All you need are candles and a variety of pumpkins, greenery, and floral to create the look. I’ll walk you through the details and share sources so you can pull the centerpiece together in time for everyone to gather this season!

1. Mix Pumpkin Sizes & Colors
Using pumpkins as the centerpiece is as easy as it gets! I like it best when there’s a good balance of sizes to work with. I usually pull a larger one for the center, then surround it with a couple smaller pumpkins. With this centerpiece, I have 6 pumpkins. One large orange one for the center, surrounded by smaller white and green pumpkin on each side.
2. Fill in with Floral & Greenery
You can grab some leaves from outside, greenery from the local grocery, or faux stems from Michaels. Scatter them around the pumpkins to fill in the empty space. I used a combination of faux leaf stems and dried hydrangeas from my garden.
3. Light the Candles
Set the mood with some warm candlelight. Nothing makes a space feel more cozy than candles. I love tapered candle holders for centerpieces because they’re subtle and come in variety of heights.
A basket of pumpkins is another centerpiece go-to of mine. It also works great on a buffet or coffee table. Try mixing in some eucalyptus for a natural look.
Well that’s it for my fall decor! Next time you hear from me I’ll be sharing my Christmas decorations and I cannot wait! Until then, enjoy this beautiful time of year. Stay tuned by subscribing to my newsletter or following me on social media!
