Our home has fully embraced autumn now and I’m loving it. Moody fall tones, spiced scents, and cozy layers remind me of how much I adore this time of year.
Today I’m sharing how to style an elegant autumn fireplace in just a few easy steps. Come take a peek and get ideas for decorating your own fall mantel this season.

Natural Greenery & Floral
Layers of mixed greenery creates the perfect foundation for an elegant mantel. You can find bundles of eucalyptus at your local Trader Joes or most grocery stores. While I prefer the natural stems, I also incorporate faux greenery as well and like being able to reuse them year after year. For more color variation, try incorporating a handful of floral to the mix.
Warm Finishes like Antique Brass
Bringing in those warm touches can be just what a mantel needs to transition to fall. Antique brass candlesticks are my go-to because they’re easy to place around pumpkins and greenery.
Pumpkins in Various Sizes & Colors
I like to work with a variety of tones, shapes, and sizes. Like the greenery, I’m not afraid to mix some faux pumpkins with my real ones. To me, it’s all about dimension and color and I try to create a nice balance between the two.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope I’ve given you some fun ideas and inspiration for your autumn mantel. Now go have fun creating your own!
