While our reading nook is usually an uninspiring sight, I managed to quickly add some holiday cheer with the help of a wreath. Wreaths look great layered over mirrors and wall decor, making it an easy addition to any space. While my husband may not agree, I believe you can never have too many wreaths! I have one in just about every room this year and love how they brighten up a space with minimum effort. They can also be pretty affordable if you look at the right spots. I’ve gathered some great options for you to scroll through below, and best part is, they’re all half off!!
Another easy thing to change up for the holidays are pillows! I have a variety of pillow shams that I cover my everyday pillows with each year at Christmastime. You can find really inexpensive ones like this Santa pillow on Etsy. Shams are great because they’re easy to store and don’t take up a lot of space, which is a win in my book!
A basket, bowl, or tray of ornaments is a great for table top decor. I keep a bowl of ornaments on my coffee table and add some fresh pine and greenery for an extra touch. It creates an elegant look and only takes minutes to throw together!
If you love my gallery wall as much as I do, you can shop these prints from Restoration Art Prints here.
The reading nook is part of my sons nursery, so I thought it would be fun to give him a little tree. I found this one for $20 at Home Goods and it’s the perfect size. Not all of us have the space for a full size Christmas tree, but even a small one can be a fun addition. Check out some affordable mini trees below!
Each year I try to plan ahead so I can have some presents to wrap early and use as a part of my Christmas decor. While this is getting to be challenging with a toddler who is constantly wanting to unwrap them, It still is an affordable option of decor. I’ll also admit, I’ve even wrapped empty boxes for this purpose, so if you’re a last minute shopper, don’t let that stop you!
Well that’s it for now! If you’re looking for more holiday decorating inspiration, head on over to my previous post where I shared my holiday bedroom. If you’re still on the search for Christmas decor, I’ve shared all my favorites for you to shop HERE.
