Welcome to our Simple and Elegant Fall Home Tour!
Today I’m joining some of my favorite home decorating bloggers as we share our Fall decor. While we all have our own unique styles, simple elegance seems to be the common theme we strive for in our homes.

This Fall my focus is on making our home feel cozy and inviting. I love to entertain and the living room and kitchen seem to be the space that everyone gravitates to, so I figured that would be the perfect place to start. Today I’m going to walk you through some of the simple changes that helped our living room make the transition from Summer to Fall.
Let’s start with the first thing you see when you walk in- the Mantle. The mantle decor is a combination of fall greenery and pumpkins, both from Michaels. I kept it simple and subtle for a more natural look. After playing with numerous ideas, the simplicity seemed to be just what the space needed.
Fresh flowers instantly bring elegance to the space. These cream colored roses and greenery from Trader Joes are an easy way to brighten up the room, while also creating a soft and warm color palette.
This Fall I decided I wanted to layer some decor in front of the fireplace. I loved the idea of lanterns filled with candles and a basket full of cozy blankets. I also liked knowing there’s barrier between my 1 year old son and the fireplace! The glowing candles scream Fall to me and make me want to snuggle up and relax.
I always like to mix real pumpkins into the decor. These non traditional colors of pale green and cream blended well with my soft color palette. I layered them on top of some fresh eucalyptus and cream spray carnations, both from Trader Joes.
These antique gold nesting tables work great alongside the cane wingback chairs. I love they’re timeless detail and elegant finish.
I’ve switched things up on my sofa and incorporated these adorable antelope print pillows to the mix. I love the muted tones and chic patterns.
Lately I have started to collect throw blankets. I have them everywhere and I love it. You can never have too many, especially during winter!
Nothing completes a coffee table like a stack of pretty books! Oh, and more candles… try my favorite Valuspa candle !
If you’ve been following me, you might notice something new in this view! I’ve had such a hard time finding something to fill this corner and think I’ve finally found a solution. Candle sconces! These french country style sconces help fill the space, while not being to busy. I may add a tree there in the future, but for now I’m enjoying these soft and neutral colors.
I like how the corner isn’t cluttered or over decorated, but let’s the sconce make a statement. To me, that’s what elegance is all about.
I love the balance that these sconces bring. The tv wall can be so awkward at times and I love the distraction away from the black hole in the wall!
I love hanging wreaths in front of mirrors. It’s a great way to add some color, and in this case, more Fall touches.
Thank you so much for stopping! I hope todays tour leaves you excited for Fall and filled with decorating ideas and inspiration. Don’t forget to check out the other beautiful homes below for more inspiration!

This is so beautiful, Courtney! Last week when you asked for suggestions concerning your mirrors, I had suggested the Valletta candle sconces from Ballards…they look amazing flanking the pictures around your tv! Your home’s color palette is so soft and inviting! Bravo!
